PRINCIPAL'S VOLUNTEER READING PROGRAM
The Principal's Volunteer Reading Program is off the ground and running. This week, a number of the children from Room 22 have benefited from the program which is reliant on volunteers. Reading is very important and the more practice children have with their reading, the better and more confident they will become. Although, with this being said, we still need many more parents to assist. If you have any time during the week between 8.30-9.00am or 2.30-3.00pm then please call in at the Admin and put your name down. Ms Roberts will be conducting more training sessions in the coming weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing the love of reading grow in Room 22 with your help.Tuesday, 28 April 2015
Wattle Grove Primary School held their very own ANZAC service on Friday 24 April to commemorate all service men and women, past and present who have fought for their country. It was a wonderful service with special guests from the armed forces and RSL. The children wrote about ANZAC, with some incredible pieces of writing being produced. Thank you for all of the floral donations to make our class wreath. The choir sang a number of songs and did an amazing job on the day.
