BIG WRITING

Room 22 is coming in leaps and bounds with their writing. Our love for writing is continuing to grow. We understand that for writing to grow, it needs to be nurtured with VCOP - Vocabulary. Connectives, Openers and Punctuation. Some of the children have expressed a keen interest in sharing their writing on the blog. We’ll add to the document below, as more children finish typing up their writing, so keep a keen eye on the link to see more examples of our Big Writing.

WATTLE GROVE APP

To keep up-to-date with everything happening at our school, please download our App. All you need to do is simply search for ‘Wattle Grove Primary School’ in the App Store and install it for free. Ensure that the notification setting is switched on so that you are always kept informed about what is happening at our school. Other features include: recording absences, ordering from the canteen, viewing the term planner, newsletters and blogs. It really is a one-stop shop.  
 

FACTION CARNIVAL DAY

Just a reminder that the faction carnival is Friday, 4^th September. Children can come dressed in their faction colours. It should be a great day and I hope to see you there. 
CELEBRATING 100 YEARS

Our celebration day kicks off with a dress up, inspired by the pioneer days. The children look fantastic and are eagerly anticipating the in-school fete later on in the day.
