Rainforest Project

The Rainforest Project is due in only a couple of weeks (Wednesday 24th June). It is essential that all students are now working extremely hard on their research and compiling their project together. There are three parts to the project: a report on the rainforest of their choice (e.g. Amazon), an animal report (e.g. Red belly piranha) and an oral presentation of what they have learnt.
In order for the children to focus on the task at hand, for the rest of the term I have put a stop to our homework book. Children will still have spelling words for Week 8, followed by the Principal's Challenge study for the rest of the term. Hopefully this will help the children manage their time more effectively.
Wk 8 - Spelling, reading and project work.
Wk 9 - Principal's Challenge study, reading and project work.
Wk 10 - Principal's Challenge study, reading and project work (project due on Wednesday).
Wk 11 - Principal's Challenge study, reading and rehearse for oral presentation for project.
